Please read each of these items and check them off to show that you understand each of them.

I understand that I will be contacted if a sponsor expresses interest in my concepts or in me as an artist, and that I can choose whether or not to work with that sponsor.

I understand that no other artist will be commissioned to produce a sculpture based on my submissions, but because of the very public nature of the call for artists, another artist may independently submit their own original ideas that might bear some similarity to mine.

I understand that my work must be weatherproof, strong enough hold up to a summer of rough handling, and be child-safe.

I understand that I will be required to certify my mastery of the tools, materials, and techniques necessary to work with these sculptures before I will be provided the fiberglass form and that an optional class will be held to help me understand them.
I understand that I will be responsible for transportation and storage of my sculpture until the unveiling.

I understand that I will need to maintain my scultpure for the duration of the Trail, keeping it presentable, and reparing any damage or vandalism.

I understand that I will need to do final touchups just before the closing auction.

I understand that my honorarium will only be paid if the work is delivered on time for the unveiling.

I understand that my 10% proceeds from the auction of my sculpture will only be paid if the work is touched up through the season and it is delivered on time and in satisfactory condition for the closing auction.

I understand that there will be events during the Trail's season that I will be asked to attend in order to promote myself and my work, such as the unveiling, artistic merit awards, and closing auction, and that these events are NOT required of me.
